When you just want to test out some code, it can be annoying to keep logging everything to the console. Thankfully, the Firefox DevTools come equipped with a handy multi-line editor!
To try it out:
- Open the Web Console by pressing CTRL+SHIFT+K on Windows or CMD+OPTION+K on macOS.
- Toggle multi-line mode by pressing CTRL+B on Windows or CMD+B on macOS.
- Create new lines by pressing the ENTER key.
- Run your code by pressing CTRL+ENTER on Windows or CMD+ENTER on macOS.
You can highlight specific lines of your code and run only those. You can even open and save local files. For more information, check out multi-line mode in the MDN Web Docs 😊
