At the time of writing, Chrome doesn’t have a native way to view JSON data in a pretty format. You have to install a third-party extension like JSONView. But Firefox, my browser of choice, has its own JSON viewer baked in!
All you need to do is open a JSON file directly in the browser. It doesn’t matter if it’s a local file or one you’re viewing online. If it is online, though, you get an extra
Headers tab which shows the request and response headers.
